Lorna Hamilton, Dr

Senior Lecturer at University of Edinburgh

I am currently a Senior Lecturer at Edinburgh University with a keen interest in equality and diversity issues (particularly disability and Inclusion), Teacher Education and the early career development of teachers.
I have also contributed to the Scottish Educational Research Association as a committee member, conference convenor and network convenor as well as Vice-president and President. I have been a co-convenor of 黑料网911's Teacher Education and Development SIG and am currently convenor of SERA’s Teacher Education Network. I lead a team in sharing research in a more accessible format (Researching Education Bulletin) and I have also served on a number of editorial boards and as a reviewer for several international journals.
I am strongly committed to research into professional identity and the early professional development of teachers both in ITE and beyond and continue to explore aspects of Initial Teacher Education and the shifting identities of Teacher Educators.
