Natasha Gayle, Miss

SEND Tutor

Natasha Gayle is a teacher who recently completed a Master's in Psychology, and has spent the last ten years working with young people and adults presenting with Emotionally Based School/Education Avoidance (EBSA/EBEA). Throughout her career, she has seen first-hand how conversations about EBSA/EBEA have too often been weighted towards attendance figures rather than the underlying needs of the child.
Natasha has worked alongside professionals in schools, colleges, and multi-agency settings to shift that focus: helping identify what a young person actually needs, and understanding what affects their ability to complete the school or college day. She works directly with children and their families, using this understanding to shape practical, sustainable support rather than compliance-driven responses. She is currently Director at Soullutions Consultancy, a business she is developing to help young people find their voice in education while building trusting relationships. Natasha is passionate about ensuring that professionals working with children and young people see beyond the attendance figure to the person behind it.
