Su Corcoran is a senior research associate at Manchester Metropolitan University, research advisor at the Enabling Education Network, and lead editor of Enabling Education Review. Working at the intersection of education and social care, her research focuses on inclusion, social justice, participatory research methodologies, the experiences of young people whose voices are often marginalised in policy, and the histories of youth-led practice of the practitioners who support them. Su brings to academe over twenty-five years of professional and research experience in youth work and education within and beyond schools to academe, which have inspired important contributions to international education and childhood and youth studies through her work on inclusive practice with, for example,  street-connected young people, young (adult) carers, girls at risk of exclusion, and children.
